Gameweek in Review
Every round, we go back over what we called — the pick that came off, the one that missed, and the players who actually decided it.
Süper Lig · Regular Season - 1
Paulo Victor Osimhen and a late Fenerbahçe winner gave the round its edge
Fipster got one big call exactly right and spent the rest of the weekend chasing games that slipped away from the neat home-win pattern. The round’s lesson was simple enough: a few individual performances mattered more than the broad shape of the table.

Serie A · Regular Season - 20
Remo were the clean read; Neymar and the late noise did the rest
Fipster found one proper home win in Round 20 and got Remo exactly right, but the rest of Serie A spent the weekend punishing overconfidence in scorelines. The useful part is not that the model missed often; it is that the misses came from different places — a flat 0-0, a late away winner, a couple of draws that refused to sit still, and one very expensive underestimation of who would actually score.

Primeira Liga · Regular Season - 1
Santa Clara’s late rescue and a round that punished tidy 2-1 guesses
Fipster found four correct calls in Primeira Liga’s opening round, but the misses were loud: too many home wins were priced as neat 2-1s, and several matches turned on scorers the model did not see coming. Santa Clara’s draw with Nacional was the cleanest hit; Benfica, Sporting CP and Guimaraes all slipped away from the script.

Premiership · Regular Season - 1
Kevin Nisbet and Killian Phillips made a messy opening round look more readable than it was
Fipster found two correct calls in a six-match Premiership opener, but the bigger lesson was sharper: the model was happiest when it trusted narrow home wins and least comfortable when the goals came from names it had not put on the page.

Czech Liga · Regular Season - 3
Tom Slončík and Mojmír Chytil did the damage while the model spent too long admiring the wrong names
Czech Liga’s third round gave Fipster three clean hits, but the bigger lesson was that the goals kept coming from players it had not backed. The wins for Hradec Králové, Sigma Olomouc and Slavia Praha made sense in different ways; the misses in Teplice and Zlín were less polite.

Serie A · Regular Season - 23
Pedro did the obvious thing; the rest of Serie A spent the round arguing back
Fipster found three correct calls in a noisy Round 23, with Pedro and Gabriel Barbosa doing their part, but several narrow home-win reads were undone by late goals, surprise scorers and one very lively 3-3 in Chapecoense-sc.

Serie A · Regular Season - 22
Kaio Jorge landed one call, Palmeiras left the rest of the round in a fog
Cruzeiro and Flamengo did enough to reward the model’s home-win reads, but Palmeiras’ blank against Internacional was the costly miss. The round’s real story was less about scorelines than about which pre-match ideas held up and which player calls were simply overtaken by events.

Major League Soccer · Regular Season - 18
Luis Suárez Díaz was the bright spot; the rest of Round 18 kept slipping past the model
Fipster found one perfect call in Major League Soccer Round 18, but too many of the expected home wins turned into draws or away results. The round’s clearest lesson was simple enough: the model still saw the right scorers in a few places, yet it overtrusted home control and missed how often late goals, stubborn keepers and a couple of unexpected names would decide things.

K League 1 · Regular Season - 16
Wanderson and Jeju’s late equaliser spoiled a tidy K League 1 read
Fipster landed the Gimcheon–Jeju draw and FC Seoul’s narrow home win, but the round was mostly ruled by the names it did not fancy: Wanderson, Matheus Oliveira, Lee Tae-Hee and Jeong Seung-Won all turned up where the model had looked elsewhere.

Championship · Regular Season - 1
Championship Round 1: Fipster found four clean calls, but the goals came from elsewhere
The opening Championship round gave the model four exact scoreline hits, yet the bigger story was how many of the decisive names were not on its pre-match list. That is a useful sort of wrong: close enough to show the read was there, loose enough to remind us where the gaps still live.

Allsvenskan · Regular Season - 11
Robert Ure’s four and one clean call gave Allsvenskan a very odd afternoon
Fipster landed the 1-2 in IFK Goteborg v AIK Stockholm, but the round mostly belonged to the forwards who were not supposed to be this troublesome. Robert Ure ran riot for Sirius, while several of the model’s neatest scorer ideas were left staring at the wrong end of the scoreline.

Premiership · Regular Season - 2
Kasper Waarts Thenza Høgh and Josh Campbell made the round awkward in all the right places
Fipster landed four of six in Premiership Round 2, but the two misses were the noisy ones: Rangers were turned over late by Hibernian, while Celtic’s trip to Kilmarnock became a lesson in underestimating a scorer who arrived with a hat-trick and no pre-match warning.
