Terms of Service

Effective date: 6 May 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of fipster.com and any related sub-domains, applications, or APIs operated by the Fipster AI team (collectively, the “Service”). Please read them carefully. By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The service

Fipster provides AI-generated football predictions, fixture and team data, league standings, statistical visualisations, an editorial blog, an AI chat assistant metered by “chat credits” (see §9), and an optional fantasy football game called Fantasy Fipster. The Service is provided for entertainment and informational purposes only. Predictions and chat-assistant responses are probabilistic outputs of statistical models and large-language-model summaries; they are not betting advice, financial advice, or guaranteed outcomes. We do not accept wagers, take bets, or facilitate gambling. If you choose to act on information from the Service when placing real-world wagers, you do so entirely at your own risk and only where lawful in your jurisdiction.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, and at least 18 to create an account or play Fantasy Fipster. By using the Service you represent that you meet these age requirements and that your use complies with all applicable laws.

3. Accounts

Some features (notably Fantasy Fipster) require a free account. You agree to provide accurate information when registering, to keep your credentials confidential, and to notify us promptly of any unauthorised access. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, that abuse the Service, or where we are required to do so by law.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract content from the Service in bulk or by automated means without our prior written permission;
  • use predictions, content, or data from the Service to populate, train, or seed a commercial competing service;
  • resell, sublicense, or redistribute predictions, fixture data, or other content from the Service;
  • attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise derive the source of any part of the Service;
  • interfere with the operation of the Service, probe for vulnerabilities outside an agreed responsible-disclosure process, or use the Service to send spam or malicious content;
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organisation;
  • use the Service in any way that breaches applicable law, including gambling, data protection, advertising, or sanctions law in your jurisdiction.

5. User-generated content

When you submit picks, predictions, comments, or any other content to the Service (“User Content”), you retain ownership of that content. You grant Fipster AI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, and display your User Content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. You warrant that your User Content does not infringe the rights of any third party and does not breach these Terms.

6. Intellectual property

All site code, generated predictions, editorial articles, layouts, branding, and aggregated data are owned by Fipster or our licensors and are protected by copyright, database right, and trademark law. Fixture and statistical data is provided under licence by third-party sports data providers. Personal, non-commercial use is permitted; any other use requires prior written permission.

7. Predictions and disclaimers

Fipster predictions are derived from publicly available match data, statistical models, and AI-generated analysis. They reflect probabilities, not certainties. Past performance is not a guarantee of future results. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for any particular purpose of any prediction, statistic, or piece of content. The Service may be unavailable or may contain errors at any time.

8. Advertising

The Service is supported in part by advertising, including via Google AdSense. We do not endorse advertisers or the goods and services they promote. Your interactions with advertisers are solely between you and them.

9. Paid services and chat credits

The AI chat assistant is metered using “chat credits” sold in one-off “credit packs”. The price, credit count per pack, and accepted currencies are shown on the buy-credits page at the time of purchase. New accounts receive a one-off, non-refillable trial allowance of free chat messages; the size of that allowance is shown on the chat surface at the time of sign-up.

One-off purchases, no subscription. Each credit-pack purchase is a single, one-off transaction. We do not auto-renew, automatically top up, or hold a payment instrument on file for future charges. To buy more credits you must initiate another purchase.

Payment processor. Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. and its affiliates (“Stripe”). Stripe’s own terms apply to the payment leg of your purchase. We never see or store full card details; only a transaction reference and the metadata required to attribute the purchase to your account.

Immediate digital delivery. Chat credits are digital content. They are delivered to your account immediately upon receipt of payment confirmation from Stripe and become usable on your account at that moment.

All sales final — no refunds. Because chat credits are digital content delivered immediately and consumed on use, all credit-pack purchases are final. We do not offer refunds, partial refunds, exchanges, or returns on credit-pack purchases, except where required by mandatory consumer-protection law or where we decide, in our sole discretion, that an exceptional circumstance warrants a goodwill adjustment.

Express waiver of the 14-day cancellation right. Before redirecting you to Stripe Checkout we ask you to expressly confirm the following statement, and we will not allow the purchase to proceed unless you do:

“I want immediate access to the credits I am purchasing. I understand and agree that I am expressly waiving my 14-day right to cancel under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 reg 37 / EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU article 16(m), and that these credits are non-refundable digital content.”

By ticking that confirmation, you give your express prior consent to the immediate performance of the contract for digital content and you acknowledge that this consent causes you to lose your right to cancel under regulation 37 of the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU. Stripe Checkout additionally requires you to accept these Terms before completing payment.

Use, transfer, and forfeiture. Chat credits are non-transferable and have no cash value. They cannot be exchanged for money, sold to a third party, or combined with another account. Credits remaining on an account at the time the account is terminated, deleted, or closed (whether by you or by us in accordance with §12) are forfeited and are not refundable.

Fraud, abuse, and chargebacks. We reserve the right to revoke credits and cancel pending or completed purchases that we reasonably believe were obtained through fraud, abuse, breach of these Terms, or chargebacks initiated against payments to us. If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute against a credit-pack purchase, the credits granted by that purchase will be removed from your balance. Repeated or fraudulent chargebacks may result in account termination.

Pricing and packs. We may change the price, credit count, or available credit-pack tiers at any time. Changes apply only to future purchases; they do not affect credits you have already purchased. The displayed price at the time you confirm a purchase is the price you pay.

Tax. Where applicable, value-added tax (VAT) or equivalent indirect tax is calculated and shown to you at checkout before payment. The amount and treatment of tax depends on your location and on the configuration of our payment processor.

Credit consumption. Each chat message currently consumes one credit, regardless of length. Excessively long messages may be rejected before any credit is debited; the input length cap is published on the chat surface. We may revise the consumption rate or the length cap; any changes will only apply going forward and will be visible on your account.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fipster is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, including any losses (real or otherwise) incurred from acting on Service content. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under English law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fipster from and against any claim, loss, or expense arising out of your breach of these Terms, your User Content, or your misuse of the Service.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if we discontinue any part of the Service.

13. Changes to the service or these terms

The Service is under active development. Features may be added, modified, or withdrawn at any time. We may update these Terms; the effective date at the top of the page reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising from or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that we may bring proceedings in any jurisdiction where you reside or do business.

15. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent via the Contact page.
