Czech Liga’s crystal ball had a mixed day with two hits and two misses
Four fixtures, four different stories for the Fipster model: it called two outcomes right but stumbled on the exact scores and halftime predictions. Confidence was a bit all over the place, but we’ll take the wins where we can get them.
Today’s Czech Liga action delivered a mixed bag for the Fipster model. The standout moment? Teplice versus Slavia Praha, where the model nailed the outcome, correctly predicting a Slavia win, even if it missed the exact scoreline and halftime call. That’s a tick in the box for us.
Zlin against Hradec Králové also saw the model get the outcome right, despite underestimating confidence levels and missing other finer details like exact score and halftime results. Still, two correct outcomes out of four isn’t shabby.
On the flip side, Baník Ostrava versus Pardubice was a bit of a misfire — none of the prediction dimensions landed, from outcome to BTTS and halftime accuracy. Similarly, Plzen versus Sigma Olomouc proved tricky; while it got BTTS and over/under calls right, it missed on outcome and halftime predictions despite an overconfident stance.
Overall, no star performances today but a couple of solid ticks to keep our spirits up.
