The only fly in the ointment was the halftime call, which didn’t quite match reality. Still, considering it was underconfident in this one, we’ll take that little miss with a wink.
Over in Lecce, Roma put on a show with a 4-0 thrashing. The model was right to back Roma for the win and correctly anticipated both teams would not score. However, it missed out on predicting the exact score and underestimated how many goals would be scored overall. Halftime accuracy again proved elusive here, but confidence levels were appropriately calibrated — no over-egging the pudding.
