Napoli's 2-0 victory over Genoa was one of the day's highlights where the model got the outcome spot on, even if it underestimated the margin by predicting just a 1-0. It also correctly anticipated both teams would find the net, which they did not, so that part was a miss. The over-under call was right though, so we'll take that one.
Inter's 4-1 thrashing of Monza was another tick in the box for Fipster. The model predicted an Inter win but didn't quite foresee such a goal glut or Monza getting on the scoresheet. Both BTTS and over-under calls were off, as was halftime prediction, but hey, you can't have everything.
Parma versus Cagliari proved trickier. The model expected a draw with goals from both sides, but it turned out to be a narrow 1-0 win for Cagliari without any goals from Parma. Outcome and BTTS calls missed their marks here, though at least it got the over-under and halftime predictions right.
