Today's lone La Liga fixture ended in a 1-1 stalemate between Rayo Vallecano and Alaves, but our trusty Fipster model was a bit off the mark. It confidently tipped a 2-1 win for the hosts, so you could say it was rather overenthusiastic about Rayo's chances.
On the bright side, the model did get some things right: it correctly predicted that both teams would find the net (BTTS) and also called the halftime outcome accurately. So not all hope is lost — at least it knew there'd be goals and some drama before the break.
