Fipster nails all outcomes but shies away from exact scores in Czech Liga
Four fixtures, four correct match outcomes, and a smattering of other prediction hits. The model kept its feet on the ground with underconfident calls and appropriate confidence ratings, delivering a solid day without any star turns or misses.
Today’s Czech Liga round saw Fipster get all four match outcomes spot on — no small feat when the scores ranged from tight 2-0 wins to a convincing 3-0 home victory. While exact score predictions remained elusive, the model showed it can reliably call who will come out on top.
Bohemians 1905’s 2-0 win over Slovácko was a textbook example of the model’s strengths: outcome, BTTS (no), over/under, and halftime predictions all correct. It was just a bit shy on the exact score and modestly underconfident about the result — but hey, better safe than sorry.
Zbrojovka Brno edged Artis 2-1, with Fipster correctly calling the outcome but missing on BTTS and halftime predictions. Confidence was appropriately calibrated here, showing that even when some details slip, the bigger picture remains intact.
Slovan Liberec’s 3-0 triumph over Mlada Boleslav also earned a tick for outcome accuracy and nailed both over/under and halftime calls. The model predicted a closer scoreline but still got the essentials right — no harm in aiming high.
Sparta Praha’s 2-0 win against FK Jablonec followed a similar pattern: outcome correct but BTTS and halftime predictions missed. Interestingly, this was another underconfident call — perhaps the model is modest when it should be bold.
