Galatasaray and Çorum FK share spoils, but Fipster’s crystal ball fogs over the winner
The model called for a narrow Galatasaray win, but instead got a lively 2-2 draw. While it missed the match outcome and exact score, it did nail both teams scoring and the goal volume. A mixed bag on an eventful Süper Lig day.
Today’s Süper Lig fixture between Galatasaray and Çorum FK ended in a 2-2 draw, much to the chagrin of our prediction model which had pegged a 2-1 home win. So, no points for picking the outright winner or the exact scoreline — that’s where the crystal ball got a bit cloudy.
However, it wasn’t all doom and gloom. The model correctly anticipated that both teams would find the net (BTTS correct) and that the total goals would be over the predicted threshold. Plus, it even got the halftime outcome right — so at least it was on target during the break.
Confidence-wise, the model was appropriately cautious given how tight this one turned out. Sometimes football just likes to keep us guessing — and today was one of those days.
