Benfica edges Estoril in a close call that Fipster nearly nailed
Fipster's prediction model scored a respectable tick with Benfica's 2-1 win over Estoril, getting the outcome right and the over-under call spot on, though it missed the exact score and halftime forecast.
Today’s Primeira Liga offering was a single fixture, but it gave our beloved Fipster model a decent workout. Benfica managed to secure a 2-1 victory against Estoril, and thankfully for us, the model called the outcome correctly. That’s a solid start — we’ll take those wins where we can get them.
While the exact score prediction didn’t quite hit the bullseye (the model fancied a more emphatic 4-0), it did get the over-under right.
