Celtic edges Dundee in a nail-biter that left Fipster a bit off the mark
The model predicted a draw but Celtic managed to sneak a 1-0 win over Dundee. While it got the over-under and halftime calls right, the exact score and outcome slipped through its fingers, earning a modest day grade of D-.
Today’s lone Premiership fixture saw Celtic narrowly defeat Dundee 1-0, but our trusty Fipster model wasn’t quite on the money with its prediction. It confidently tipped a 1-1 draw, which turned out to be a bit optimistic.
On the bright side, the model did correctly call that both teams wouldn’t find the net (BTTS was off) and nailed the over-under threshold. It also got the halftime prediction spot-on, so it wasn’t all doom and gloom. However, missing both the exact score and final outcome means this one goes down as a miss.
Interestingly, the model was overconfident in its call — sometimes even an AI can get ahead of itself. We’ll take the partial wins with a wink and hope for better luck next time.
With just one fixture on the slate today, there’s not much to dissect beyond this single slip-up. The record stands at zero stars, zero ticks, and one miss — not exactly headline material for Fipster fans.
Day grade: D-.
