Houston Dynamo shock New England Revolution as Fipster misses the mark
The model confidently predicted a New England win, but Houston Dynamo had other ideas, cruising to a 2-0 victory and leaving Fipster looking a bit overconfident today.
Today’s Major League Soccer action featured just one fixture, and it was a bit of a curveball for our trusty Fipster model. The prediction was firmly in favour of the New England Revolution with a 3-1 scoreline, but instead, Houston Dynamo flipped the script with a neat 2-0 win.
Unfortunately for the model, none of its calls landed: the outcome was off, the exact score missed by miles, and even the basics like both teams scoring or the over-under line didn’t come close. Not to mention halftime predictions — all wrong. It was an overconfident day for Fipster, which sometimes happens when you put your chips on one team.
So while we hoped for some predictive magic, today was more of a reminder that soccer loves to keep us humble. One game, one miss — but hey, we’ll take those days on the chin and look forward to bouncing back.
