Today's lone La Liga fixture saw Deportivo La Coruna and Levante play out a 1-1 draw, much to the chagrin of our trusty Fipster model. It confidently tipped a 2-0 home win, but reality had other plans.
The model's confidence rating was 'overconfident', and it showed. Outcome and exact score predictions were off the mark, as was the call on both teams to score. Even the halftime prediction missed its cue.
On the bright side, at least it nailed the over/under line correctly — a small consolation prize in an otherwise misjudged forecast.
So no stars or ticks today, just a single miss to add to the ledger. We’ll take that one on the chin and hope for better luck next time.
