Fipster’s mixed bag in Eredivisie: two ticks, one miss, and one interrupted
The model called the outcome right in two matches but stumbled on the big Ajax-PSV clash. One fixture was interrupted, so no prediction there. Overall, a solid day with room for improvement.
Today’s Eredivisie action gave Fipster a bit of a rollercoaster ride. The model nailed the outcomes in both NEC Nijmegen vs Feyenoord (1-3) and Willem II vs Excelsior (0-3), earning two TICKs. It correctly predicted that both teams would score and that the total goals would be over the line in the NEC-Feyenoord game, though it missed the halftime call there.
Willem II vs Excelsior saw the model get the outcome spot on again, plus it got halftime and over/under right, but BTTS was off. So close yet so far on some fronts.

The model showed good judgement on outcomes and goal totals but could sharpen its exact scoreline predictions — especially when confidence was "appropriate." We’ll take those two ticks as proof that sometimes even a cheeky algorithm can have its day.
