Czech Liga predictions take a tumble on 2026-08-02 with no winners today
All three fixtures in the Czech Liga on August 2nd saw the Fipster model miss the mark, including a couple of surprising scorelines and an accurate BTTS call that couldn't save the day.
Today’s Czech Liga round was a tough one for the Fipster prediction model, which failed to land any of its forecasts across all three matches. It’s not often we get a clean sweep of misses, but here we are — no STARs, no TICKs, just a trio of MISSES.
Bohemians 1905 versus Hradec Králové ended goalless, despite the model confidently predicting a 2-1 home win. Not a single correctness flag was ticked, and the confidence rating was overconfident — proof that sometimes even the best guesses can be wildly off.
Pardubice hosting FK Jablonec also confounded expectations. The model fancied another 2-1 home victory, but instead Jablonec ran out 2-0 winners. Again, every accuracy dimension missed the target, and overconfidence was once more on display.
The closest call came in Sigma Olomouc against Mlada Boleslav. The model predicted a 2-1 home win but the match finished 2-2. While it missed outcome and exact score predictions, it did correctly call both teams to score and that the total goals would be over/under the line — small mercies in an otherwise bleak day.
Overall, it was a day when confidence outpaced accuracy. The model’s overconfidence rating on all fixtures didn’t translate into correct calls. No halftime predictions landed either, making this one for the “better luck next time” file.
