Sirius and Mjallby AIF serve up an eight-goal thriller that left Fipster flummoxed
The model predicted a Sirius win by two goals but instead got an entertaining 4-4 draw, nailing BTTS and over/under calls but missing the outcome and exact score. Confidence was high, but reality had other plans.
Today’s Allsvenskan fixture between Sirius and Mjallby AIF turned into a goal bonanza with an unexpected 4-4 draw. Our trusty Fipster model confidently tipped Sirius to win 2-1, so it’s fair to say the prediction took a bit of a bashing.
On the bright side, the model did get some calls right: both teams scored (BTTS correct), the match went over the predicted goal line, and it even nailed the halftime outcome. So not all was lost in this rollercoaster of a game.
However, the exact scoreline and final outcome proved too much for our overconfident friend. It’s a reminder that football can be gloriously unpredictable — especially when eight goals are flying around.
So while Fipster didn’t quite hit the mark today, it still managed to call some key elements correctly. We’ll take those small victories where we can get them.
